    You're right. But people have been analogizing that to the subway
    vigilante case, where the guy was just found not guilty of murder. So I
    was thinking of that one when I used the past tense.

    Pretty good, I would think. While there are clearly some zealots who
    would exonerate someone for being a "greedy capitalist" or something
    similar, I would think most reasonable citizens will evaluate the
    evidence and come to an appropriate verdict.
