I think what you're looking for is what's called a cohabitation
agreement, which is like a pre-nup without the nup. The one thing I
would suggest is that even before you do this, make sure you have a good
estate plan in place beforehand with a will that documents very clearly
what happens to your property in case you pre-decease your partner, plus
the other usual documents like health care directives etc.
