  • Waiving arraignment

    Most of the 18 charged in Georgia along with trump have waived their arraignment. If you can waive it, why would anyone go? It takes hours,
    even if you live in town. You have to put on a clean shirt. What can a defendant get from being present?

    Can you waive it in many jurisdictions? Where you live?

    Some basics which may or may not apply to you:

    You probably need a private attorney. Many states appoint a public
    defender at the arraignment

    One important things would be then setting of bail. Your attorney and
    the prosecutor agree on bail amount and conditions before the arraignment
