Job Description:
� experience in Unix/Linux, Windows, AIX, Database systems
� Strong written and verbal communication skills.
� Experience creating and interpreting technical documentation
� Experience with Virtualization – VMWare a plus
� Understanding of WebSphere Application Server and Network Deployment � Possess consulting skills, leadership qualities, credibility and self-confidence.
� Provide recommendations and guidelines for development test, operations and application support.
� Define how technology and applications should be structured in order to align with business plans
� Evaluate modern and emerging technologies to identify the impact to the business.
� Understand the issues that affect operational stability of IT systems and be able to address those issues
� Assess processes that are used to operate, support and maintain a project.
� Refine deployment process and architecture so it will easily scale to fit in the enterprise scope.
� Assist in determining SLAs for immediate needs/deployments
� Work closely with other teams to define dependencies.
� Review all design parameters with an emphasis on performance.
� Experience in IBM WebSphere architecture and design for enterprise scale deployments.
� Able to create and refine integration solutions with other enterprise standard technologies.
� Understanding of various hardware platforms
� Knowledge of any hardware based load balancer
� Working knowledge of Linux and Windows is a must
� Understanding of enterprise networking is desired
