whether Donald Trump will nominate NASSCOM/America First Policy
Institute's Chad Wolf to succeed Alejandro Mayorkas at DHS.GOV and
whether Mitch McConnell will consent: <URL:

| When Republicans decided in October to demand a border security
| measure in exchange for funding to aid the war effort in Ukraine,
| Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) told Senate Majority
| Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) that asylum and parole must be fixed
| and that Lankford would be a lead Republican negotiator.
|
| Lankford, who has long been considered a "border hawk" and who has
| been to the border at least a dozen times, is ranking member of the
| Subcommittee on Government Operations and Border Management and is
| one of the most widely-respected, principled conservatives in the
| Senate. He was chosen because McConnell believed he had the
| knowledge and the conservative cred to do the job.
What is Trump's legislative agenda and will he re-hire Amy Swonger
to sell it to McConnell's Senate.GOV and Mike Johnson's House.GOV?
