The Poynter Institute's Aina de Lapparent Alvarez on where Susie
Wiles sees signs in her internal polling or the surveys conducted
by Brad Parscale and Bill Stepien on why American moms and dads won't
let their sons grow up to be press hacks or press flacks: <URL:https://www.poynter.org/educators-students/2023/stem-designation-would-help-international-journalism-students-find-jobs-in-us/>
    | In 2008, the Department of Homeland Security started allowing
    | students who had majored in a designated STEM (Science, Technology,
    | Engineering and Math) field of study to apply for a 17-month
    | extension of their one-year OPT program. In 2016, that extension was
    | lengthened to 24-months. To benefit from it, employers have to
    | register for free with an online system called E-verify.
    |
    | An increasing number of journalism and media programs are being
    | reclassified to fall under the Classification of Instructional
    | Programs' Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia code, which has
    | been designated as STEM since 2011.

Will Donald Trump nominate America First Policy Institute's Chad Wolf
to succeed Alejandro Mayorkas at DHS.GOV and will Mitch McConnell
    consent?

that what you see with you eyes isn't real, that the worst people in
the GOP are not, in fact, circling the wagons around Trump and the
very few good Republicans, like Thomas Massie, are siding with
