Progressives for Immigration Reform's Joe Guzzardi on whether Donald
Trump would nominate Eugene Scalias for DoL.GOV: <URL:

| Through several administrations, labor secretaries have been
| prominent mouthpieces for illegal immigration expansion. In 2001,
| George W. Bush appointed Elaine Chao, married to Mitch McConnell, a
| Kentucky U.S. senator known for his immigration advocacy. Hilda
| Solis followed Chao. A California U.S. representative, Solis, 100
| percent of the time, cast votes that would either expand immigration
| or compromise enforcement. After leaving the Cabinet, Solis became
| Los Angeles County supervisor chair, and unsurprisingly her
| immigration advocacy continued. After Chao and Solis departed, other
| immigration advocates followed: Thomas Perez, Alexander Acosta and
| Eugene Scalia.
Which pro-American reforms to the Cheap Labor Lobby's scab worker
import pipelines did Trump allow Scalia to block or slow-walk?

"Thus was the exact same narrative used to delegitimize anti-
establishment critics on both the left and right: it was the go-to
attack by Oxford-and-Cambridge-educated journalists and Blairite
Labour MPs against online supporters of interloper Jeremy Corbyn,
and was then deployed in all realms against supporters of Donald
Trump, all of whom were depicted as menacing threats to the most
sacred, successful and manicured elites of U.S. and British high
society." - Glenn Greenwald <URL:
