Yep. And, I have the problem. My kitchen stove doesn't work well, it's
not vented, and there seems to be a bit of CO residue when the pilot
flames are on. I don't trust it, I've had some killer headaches which
could be attributed to it, so I don't use it. All my cooking is done
in the microwave, or other electric devices I have.
Besides, it shickles the tit out of me to have all these weird
single-purpose devices.
Check out a rich woodworker's shop some time.
