Hotmail deleted items this message hasn't been sent

Hello Dear,
In my hotmail email address, under the deleted items folder, there are several unread messages. When I open this folder, I have to go to the bottom to find these messages, it looks like those messages were in draft folder. They are piled up in one place
and there are not 5 but there are dozens and they are all older than two years ago and the order is that it was allegedly left unsent!
Does anyone know how to delete these messages?
