I created a linear trend line on a chart, but the trend line is

select a trend line that I cannot see?
Thanks, in advance, for any assistance.
Had the same problem today (Mar 2020). In MS Excel 2016:
1. Click to select the chart
2. Click <Chart Design> in header
3. Locate <Add Chart Element> in upper left corner
4. Select the dropdown
5. Select <Trendline> then <None>
It eliminates all trendlines, but is a failsafe.
