  • How to copy format to multiple documents?

    Have many dozens of existing documents. Client wants these documents
    formatted to fit their preferred "style". What is the easiest way to accomplish this?

    They have provided me with a "sample document".

    But copying their STYLEs over into an existing document and then
    selecting each paragraph, will take forever. Any tips or tricks?

    Wow a lot of spam replies here. Use their document, Save it as a template, then open an existing document you want to format, use Developer, (you may have to enable this as an option if you haven't done so already) Document Template, Organizer, Close
    out the Normal.dotm on the right by selecting Close File, then choose Open File, and select your template, Open, Highlight everything on the right and copy it to the left and choose to overwrite it. Then close out of these windows and the Styles from
    the Sample Template they gave you should now be the Styles in your existing document and you can more easily update the existing documents.

    Then go through each of the sections and apply the styles.

    That's how I would approach it. Perhaps I'm oversimplifying things.
