Noticed this warning from sys-fs/udev-249.6-r1 while watching it build on
one of my MIPS systems:
../systemd-stable-249.6/meson.build:64: WARNING: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
split-usr mode is going to be removed
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is this a warning of an upcoming change added by us, or something added by upstream? Is it specific to the udev functionality in systemd, or all of systemd? Do we know when this removal will happen? Are we going to
maintain split-usr mode after its removal or just follow along with whatever upstream wants to do?
Lot of questions, but that's a pretty big and blatant warning, so it seems
like something may happen sooner rather than later. Having not seen any
recent discussion regarding shed colors on the topic, I figured I'd inquire.
