Gunnar Wolf has been at it for a while [1] (actually, his work was
my starting point a while ago when I needed it). It seems that he
has got some helping hands of late [2].

If it helps, I've also been working with Gunnar to build Raspberry Pi
images on Debian main servers. We've hit a small snag but it should be fine fairly soon :)

to Kurva and Gunnar.
