*Crash 1:* When I'm playing minecraft or any other game and I have an application that produces sound like youtube music or anything else if I change windows the system starts making crackling sounds, after those
sounds start to occur the system starts to slow down and then freezes to
the point where I have to restart the computer
*Crash 2:* When I'm in Steam, just by using it it stops working, I get the typical message "app stopped working", apparently that "stopped working" starts to spread to my other windows and after all my other windows stop working the computer freezes to the point where I have to restart it
*What I've tried:* I looked up the popping sound error on the internet and saw that I had to disable some energy saving options on my computer, I did this through the commands it told me to type to open and modify files, I
also went into the mixer and disabled automute
*Journalctl:* The last log from journalctl when the Steam incident happened was, according to me: *GetManagedObjects() failed: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NameHasNoOwner*
I suggest two OS instances -- one for general desktop use and one for
Steam gaming:
1. BIOS/MBR dual-boot should work.
2. UEFI/GPT dual-boot should be easier.
3. I put each OS instance on its own drive and avoid most dual-boot
issues. This works best with mobile racks, so that only one OS drive is installed at any given time:
