  • bookworm konquerer, fish not working, sftp problems

    Hallo,

    fish is not working anymore in konquerer

    Additional I have problems konquerer and sftp

    konquerer:
    sftp://EXTERNIP:22/root OK
    sftp://root@EXTERNIP:22/root NOT OK
    sftp://user@EXTERNIP:22/root NOT OK

    console:
    sftp -v user@EXTERNIP:/home OK
    sftp -v root@EXTERNIP:/root/bin OK


    I would like to have access with different user to the files to edit,
    for example using kate.

    NOT OK means:

    content of konquerer window :
    action not possible

    date and time: Dienstag, 23. Juli 2024 16:40:58 CEST
    additional information: error

    OK means list of files, normal functions of konquerer

    Maybe look else where than konquerer or sftp? I tried the above two tests on a server I have here and it worked for me. Logged in normally, saw files, etc.

    I do not normally use :22 or /root in my connection string, but this did not stop it from working on the test server I used.


    sftp://user@EXTERNIP:22/root NOT OK

    I did not test this connection string, but do wonder if 'user' has access to '/root' which in my systems, the user account does not.

    Hope you locate what is causing your issue.

    It was typed wrong, sure /root is 700, so user can not see anything
    I mean this is not working:
    sftp://user@EXTERNIP:22/home

    Also root access to my files in konquerer is not working anymore sftp://[email protected]/etc NOT OK
    Adresse: error:/?error=1&errText=Aktion vom Benutzer abgebrochen

    But Dolphin is working!

    So I have to switch to Dolphin because konquerer not working?
