seems there is another case that public UDD mirror is out of sync.

UDD

udd=# select source, version, upstream_version from upstream where source like 'r-cran-uwot' ;

Mirror:

(just to name an example of a package I've uploaded recently).

It would be great if this could be fixed (and prevented in future).

It looks like networks errors are way too frequent recently...

It would be great if this could be fixed (and prevented in future).

Hopefully at the very least reduced the probability to happen in the
future with https://github.com/paulproteus/public-udd-mirror/commit/15df7d89fb6d447e0e4b57c3e3f24aa512414b64

(since the problem is that the lockfile would be released only the very
end, but it doesn't make sense to hold it if what failed was simply the
very first wget…)

new host.

I haven't yet done it, but now I do plan to set up a nicer monitoring
system than "somebody writes on -qa@ that is it's all broken" :)
