    He intentat que m'apareguin els missatges del terminal konsole en català
    i no he sigut capaç.

    Ja he fet dpkg-reconfigure locales i està en català (l'escriptori Plasma
    sí que m'apareix en català)

    Assegura't que tens instal·lat aquest paquet:
    $ sudo apt install task-catalan

    També que la variable d'entorn LANGUAGE té el mateix idioma que la LANG:
    $ echo $LANGUAGE

    Sobre les pàgines de manual, veig que hi ha el paquet manpages-es però
    no el manpages-ca

    Sobre les eines de gestió de paquets, només veig el aptitude que estigui traduït al català.
    Prova:
    $ aptitude show aptitude

    Però els missatges del terminal em continuen apareixent en castellà, pel man, o per apt. Potser, no hi ha traducció al català per Debian 12?

    No és greu, però ho volia per si feia captures de pantalla del terminal
    per fer manuals que sortís en català.

    Quan poso LANGUAGE=ca:es:en_US hi ha coses que m'apareixen en català,
    però poques. Les dates d'arxius.

    Sí, a dpkg-reconfigure locales vaig triar sols ca_ES.UTF-8 . He provat
    també de posar el valencià, a veure si sonava la flauta, però res. L'he tret.

    Quan vas fer dpkg-reconfigure locales

    No és greu, però ho volia per si feia captures de pantalla del terminal >>> per fer manuals que sortís en català.

    Però tu fas servir coreutils o rust-coreutils ?
    Jo faig servir coreutils.

    Si miro strace df quan tinc el català configurat veig que llegeix

    i efectivament a https://packages.debian.org/bookworm/arm64/coreutils/filelist
    surt el fitxer de traduccions de coreutils
    Però si miro https://packages.debian.org/bookworm/arm64/rust-coreutils/filelist

    no veig cap fitxer de traducció ni res a /usr/share/locale (per cap llengua)

    Hi ha programes que utilitzen la variable LANG i d'altres que utilitzen
    la variable LANGUAGE per a determinar l'idioma d'usuari.
    Per això convé tenir configurades ambdues.

    Veig que, si tens instal·lat el paquet coreutils, aleshores has de tenir
    el fitxer de traduccions:
    /usr/share/locale/ca/LC_MESSAGES/coreutils.mo
    de tota manera aquesta traducció només implica alguns programes
    essencials, els que porta coreutils:
    cat chgrp chmod chown cp date dd df dir echo false ln ls mkdir mknod
    mktemp mv pwd readlink rm rmdir sleep stty sync touch true uname vdir [
    arch b2sum base32 base64 basename basenc chcon cksum comm csplit cut

    Veig que apt també compta amb la el seu fitxer de traducció al mateix lloc: /usr/share/locale/ca/LC_MESSAGES/apt.mo
    (una altra cosa és que aquest fitxer ho tradueixi tot)
    aquesta traducció implicaria els programes del paquet:
    apt apt-cache apt-cdrom apt-config apt-get apt-key apt-mark

    No és greu, però ho volia per si feia captures de pantalla del
    terminal
    per fer manuals que sortís en català.

    Però tu fas servir coreutils o rust-coreutils ?
    Jo faig servir coreutils.

    Si miro strace df quan tinc el català configurat veig que llegeix

    i efectivament a

    surt el fitxer de traduccions de coreutils

    no veig cap fitxer de traducció ni res a /usr/share/locale (per cap

    em surten en castellà.

    Quan vas fer dpkg-reconfigure locales
    ja vas triar ca_ES.UTF-8, oi ? O vas triar algun altre ca ?

    No és greu, però ho volia per si feia captures de pantalla del
    terminal
    per fer manuals que sortís en català.

    Igual dic una bestiesa.
    Però tu fas servir coreutils o rust-coreutils ?
    Jo faig servir coreutils.

    Si miro strace df quan tinc el català configurat veig que llegeix

    openat(AT_FDCWD, "/usr/share/locale/ca/LC_MESSAGES/coreutils.mo",
    O_RDONLY) = 3

    i efectivament a
    https://packages.debian.org/bookworm/arm64/coreutils/filelist
    surt el fitxer de traduccions de coreutils
    Però si miro
    https://packages.debian.org/bookworm/arm64/rust-coreutils/filelist

    no veig cap fitxer de traducció ni res a /usr/share/locale (per
    cap >> llengua)
