• Bug#844431: debian-policy: Packages should be reproducible

    Hi Edroman,

    Regarding to reproducible, I would suggest Debian should consider
    integrating Nix into Debian

    Curiously, I had a brief foray into packaging the Nix tools for Debian:

    https://github.com/lamby/pkg-nix

    Nix builds packages in isolation from each other. This ensures that
    they are reproducible

    (As Georg writes, we are using different usages of reproducible.)

    …though NixOS is also working on creating bit by bit reproducibly packages…
