    Hi,

I wanted to download a Trixie live iso and it seems all url's on the
website are broken and iso's missing from the repository:

From https://www.debian.org/CD/live/ those url's are broken:

The Trixie Alpha 1 release was for the non-live media ONLY and was a test
of the debian-installer as much as anything..

I suspect that the live CD process is still developing. There are a *lot*
of moving parts to bring together. There is a dedicated debian-live
mailing list and also #debian-live on OFTC IRC.

That process, plus the fact that the Trixie Alpha 1 release faced
issues releasing source media because of image sizes may explain why the
URLs aren't working right at the moment.

Hope this helps - all the best, as ever,

    Thanks for checking it out.

The broken live builds are another consequence of the usr-is-merged
breakage. In that directory you'll see log files for all images (add
.log to the gnome iso for example), they only contain a few lines:

    [2024-12-30 04:14:23] lb bootstrap_debootstrap
    P: Begin bootstrapping system...
    […]
    E: Couldn't find these debs: usr-is-merged

FTR usr-is-merged made it back on that day: in sid during the 01:52Z
dinstall, and in trixie during the 07:52Z dinstall, so that's really
    just bad luck.

Either wait until next week's build, or maybe trigger a new one outside
cron to see if there are other problems to get fixed before then?

    Cheers,

I kicked off a new weekly build by hand a while back, and things are
    looking better now.
