P.S.: Mentors, I need guidance... I seem to have some lintian
warnings left. Which
I do not understand. Could you have a look?
Every lintian message comes with an explanation. Please read them.
What you need to address first is initial-upload-closes-no-bugs.
You need to file an ITP on the wnpp pseudo package where you justify
why you want to intoduce this package to Debian.
There is already an abundance of mp3 players in Debian, so be very
precise about that.
That ITP is to be referenced in the changelog (Closes: #ITP).
Thank you.
Sorry, I forgot about that step. It is done now. I will take care of
the other lintian warnings
this evening.
Bug#1025668: Acknowledgement (ITP: d11amp - Simple MP3 player)

Okay, I was able to get rid of some more warnings, bit this one is truly driving me crazy:
W undeclared-elf-prerequisites (libc.so.6 libcairo.so.2...)
Obviously, I have to declare those somehow. However, the description
that a missing "Depends:" field in the control file was missing was not helpful. Quite the contrary: During my run of "debuild", I see this:
dpkg-genchanges: warning: unknown information field 'Depends' in input
data in general section of control info file
How can I fix this?
Thomas
