    Hi All,

Is there anything I can do on my end to make life simpler for you in
    the future?

There are 10 types of people in this
    world:
those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Exec was actually removed in the last upload.

Ervin, do you remember why that was done? Afaict without "Exec",
    the
program won't be launched. (But I'm not a .desktop user)

this was the lintian tag why I removed the Exec:

    https://lintian.debian.org/tags/command-in-menu-file-and-desktop-file

Now I remember when I prepared this package, I had a Debian SID
desktop (in a VM), and I played with that. First I tryed to
remove the d/menu as the lintian page proposes, but then the
installer didn't create any menu entry.

In next days, I'l install a Debian SID and a testing desktop
systems, and will try to play on them again.

you can check the Debian specific patches: http://deb.debian.org/debian/pool/main/t/twclock/twclock_3.5-1.debian.tar.xz

and if you think some of them should be merged into your source
    tree.

Debian Bullseye (and later distributions) have a newer version of
autoconf (2.71). With this I get some obsolote notices:

configure.ac:7: warning: The macro `AC_CONFIG_HEADER' is obsolete. configure.ac:7: You should run autoupdate.
./lib/autoconf/status.m4:719: AC_CONFIG_HEADER is expanded from... configure.ac:7: the top level

Also would be fine to fix them.
