I filed an issue report on github and one of the developers has changed
a file in master repo that he expects will fix the issue. Have asked
    what he changed and why.

I guess the next time hamlib is packaged I will find out if it is fixed.

Changed what and where? Some URL would be helpful.

I guess this is my time to find problems. For some reason I just
started having problems with hamlib when using it with XDX to control
rig. When setting a freq below 17M, the rig is shifted to the 160M
band and the freq is shown as 1062MHZ! If I set freq after this error,
the freq is properly set and all is well. This behavior is consistent.
All other functions such as setting mode and reading freq worked fine.
It also only effects the Jupiter. Other rigs in shack work fine with
    hamlib.

    Christoph:

Here is notice on GitHub of Mike Black's change: https://github.com/Hamlib/Hamlib/commit/6a80385f8bc2658b1f29aa5cb32d3ea1b60c82a3

The file is /rigs/yasesu/YaesuTargetableVFO.ods mentioned there, but he
also changed the file /rigs/tentec/jupiter.c as described here: https://github.com/Hamlib/Hamlib/tree/master/rigs/tentec

I apologize for not filing a Debian bug report on libhamlib4. I will so
    the process can proceed properly.

Also, in playing around to explore the hamlib problem, I tried to use
flrig. Turns out it is also broken when trying to work with the TT
Jupiter. flrig cannot even connect to the Jupiter. It works for other
radios here. I will also file a bug report for flrig.
