• Java 25 default rebuild

From Vladimir Petko@21:1/5 to All on Tue Jul 1 07:00:01 2025
    Dear Maintainers,

I have performed a rebuild of Java-dependent packages and submitted
the resulting FTBFS bugs for the Java 25 default. There are
significantly fewer issues (39) compared to the Java 21 migration
    (146).

The majority of these issues are caused by the removal of the Security
Manager, changes to internal APIs, and new warnings on JNI usage.

These bugs are tagged default-java25 and are listed here[1].

    Best Regards,
    Vladimir.

Thank you very much for the rebuild with Java 25, I expected more
failures related to the security manager and JNI changes, that's a good surprise. So the Java 25 transition bug hunt is officially open :)
