    Dear Maintainer,

    * What led up to the situation?

I was running ssh, thunderbird, transmission-gtk and I believe kiwix.

    * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
    ineffective)?

System halted, I tried accessing tty's but no response, removed all
attached peripherals such as keyboard and mouse to no effect. Had no
choice but to do a hard reset.

With the available information is quite hard to pinpoint someting. Two questions:

    1. Can you check the logs from the previous boot and double-check if
still something got logged? Can you please then provide those here?

    2. Can you reliably reproduce the crashes (if so additional debugging
measure can help us gathering information).

    Thanks already,

    Regards,
    Salvatore
