Dear Maintainer,

I am watching a strange issue with the application launcher. As I do not know, what really hapens, please let me shortly describe:

1. When starting the launcher and I can hover the mouse over the categories, but when I go into the submenus to chose the application, the submenu disapears. Thus I can not start any application from the startmenu. This behaviour appears also on the
alternatives.

2. When hover the mousepointer over any of the categories, I see the mouse cursor blinking black and white colour, so as if the mouse is doing something. The mouse is not touched during this.

3. Removing the external mouse does not work.

4. This is a laptop, so a touchpad is always connected.

Work I did and things to know:

- I reinstalled all kde-packages = no success
- Checked all parms = nothing unusual found
- Created a new user for testing purposes = same issue
- Chcked hardware with a livefile system = on livefile it is ok

On my desktop computer with debian/trixie and same package versions, it is working. Maybe it is a bad combination of hardware and software? The trouble is on my Dell Latitude 5400.
