I don’t know how I missed this one -
I recently faced this issue on a clean trivia install and tracked it down to fluid synth. It appeared to be binding straight to ALSA and blocking pipewire from binding to my audio devices.
Are you able to confirm if you are running pipewire for audio?
Does following
https://bugs-devel.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1053245#10 resolve the issue?
If so this is a bug I’ll shift over to fluidsynth.
