    Control: reassign -1 linux-sysctl-defaults

    Hi Linux maintainers,

I guess what is asked for in this bug report is now taken care of
by the linux-sysctl-defaults package, but could you please follow up
    / close the bug?

By default with Debian 12 Bookworm, the file named "/etc/sysctl.d/99-sysctl.conf" contains a lot of settings, but they are all disabled.
It coult be interesting to add and activate the following setting by default : vm.max_map_count=2147483642
This option is already set by default with other Linux distributions like Fedora.
It is useful to optimize performances for gaming.
This setting increases memory allocated to the game.

    Thanks,
    Chris
