    Severity: wishlist

    Dear Maintainer,

    The current version in Debian has been discontinued upstream and is no longer supported.
    I consider it negligent to neglect such an important component.
    Many projects that use libspring as a dependency can no longer
    be used from Debian due to a lack of security support.
    Please update.
