Bug#1109796: ironic-conductor: Depends on upstream-unmaintained xinetd
From
Chris =?utf-8?Q?Hofst=C3=A4dtler?=
@21:1/5 to

on Thu Jul 24 00:40:02 2025
Package: ironic-conductor
Version: 1:29.0.0-7
Severity: normal
NOTE: do not act upon this before forky development has been opened.
Your package currently depends on xinetd. However xinetd was
recently orphaned in Debian, and it appears upstream development has
ceased in 2022.
As this is probably bad for a network-listening daemon, please
consider moving off xinetd for forky. Maybe a systemd.socket is a
suitable replacement?
Thanks,
Chris
