    Hey,

    thax for your bugreport. It is a know issue upstream.
    Plasma Desktop is not affected by it.

    A workaround is to use another platformtheme.
    Run nextcloud-desktop with an environment variable e.g.:

    QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME=gtk3 nextcloud-desktop

    (replace gtk3 with kde, breeze etc.) [1]

    Dear Maintainer,

    When attempting to add a new Folder Sync Connection, the error message text that the selected local folder is already used is unreadable when using the Adwaita-Dark theme within the MATE desktop environment.
    The error message "Please choose a different location. <location> is already being used as a sync folder." follows the theme's text colour correctly,
    and so switching to the Adwaita theme (which is a 'light' theme) makes the foreground text black/dark, so becomes readable on the light-yellow background of the error message box.

    Refer to the attached screenshots for clarification.

    Regards,
    Krystal.
