Dear Maintainer,
Considering trixie will be with us for the next few years please
consider backporting fixes for chromium hardware video acceleration on
amdgpu from mesa 25.1, the merge request in upstream can be found here:
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/merge_requests/34001
This will surely make lives for people with AMD GPUs better :)
I've been running a manually rebuilt mesa with this applied on trixie
for a few months now and everything (including hardware video
acceleration in chromium based browsers) seems to be working fine.
