    Dear maintainer,

your package tkcvs has not seen any updates for several years, without the two NMUs it has been for more than 10 years. Currently, there is tkrev version 9.4.5 upstream [1] as the source package was renamed to tkrev starting with version 9.4.0 in 2020.

    Hi Andreas,

thanks a lot for your effort!

As tkrev supports git as well, could you also please change Depends on
"cvs | subversion" into "cvs | git | subversion".

    Thank you once again!

    Best regards,

    Thomas Uhle

    Hi Andreas,

there are two minor typos in debian/copyright. In line 13, certainly it
has to be "TkCVS was re-licensed under the GPL v2".

    Best regards,

    Hi Andreas,

although it is long ago that tkdiff had its own binary package in Debian,
I guess that the version of the new binary package tkdiff needs to be
prefixed by '1:' as well, please see https://snapshot.debian.org/package/tkdiff/ for any older release.

    Best regards,

    Thomas Uhle

    Good morning,
The last stable release to include tkdiff was Debian 6 squeeze (in 2011)
and these systems should have upgraded from tkdiff to tkcvs since then.
I do not think catering for any leftovers from then justifies adding a
    epoch now.

Honestly, I would think so too, but I remember this discussion on
packaging dhcpcd [1]. Have fun reading it!

    Cheers,

    Thomas

Thanks for the pointer. That seems to be a little bit different, since
it could have caused actual breakage broken in the usrmerge transition.
Let's wait for NEW processing (will probaly take some time).

(BTW: I have forwarded the typo fix in debian/copyright upstream
since it was copied from there.)
