Dear maintainer,
your package tkcvs has not seen any updates for several years, without the two NMUs it has been for more than 10 years. Currently, there is tkrev version 9.4.5 upstream [1] as the source package was renamed to tkrev starting with version 9.4.0 in 2020.

Hi Andreas,
although it is long ago that tkdiff had its own binary package in Debian, I guess that the version of the new binary package tkdiff needs to be prefixed by '1:' as well, please see https://snapshot.debian.org/package/tkdiff/ for any older release.

Good morning,
The last stable release to include tkdiff was Debian 6 squeeze (in 2011)
and these systems should have upgraded from tkdiff to tkcvs since then.
I do not think catering for any leftovers from then justifies adding a
epoch now.

Honestly, I would think so too, but I remember this discussion on packaging dhcpcd [1]. Have fun reading it!
Cheers,
Thomas
