Would it perhaps be possible to include these patches in Debian? It's
been well over a year since this got fixed upstream, but there doesn't
seem to be any release in sight.
It happens to break
https://github.com/crossterm-rs/crossterm's EnableMouseCapture (crossterm being a popular TUI library for Rust),
making it think any mouse move is a drag. This is especially annoying in
https://github.com/pvolok/mprocs
I've made the changes to the Debian package in
https://salsa.debian.org/liskin/rxvt-unicode/-/commit/78bc3d9cbf588d387617206aa4ce36750a5089b7,
so all that's needed is for the maintainer to pull this into the
debian/sid branch of
https://salsa.debian.org/debian/rxvt-unicode and
make an upload.
