I refreshed the discussion at upstream [1]. But currently I don't get
any feedback from the users about it.

The use case is IMHO a misuse of BIT. It is not about that I don't want
to solve it, but technically I see no way
how BIT could handle it. But the user has the option to use a
user-callback script, to solve the problem.

I will wait some more time for user feedback. But I tend to close the
issue (after 6 years) without any action.
