Sorry mistyping late at night. Of course freshclam look for
file /etc/clamav/clamav.conf but this file is at /etc/clamav.conf.
below the effect of wajig whichpkg clamav.conf:
sanskryt@kender:/usr/tmp$ wajig whichpkg clamav.conf
File Path Package ===========================================================-================= /etc/clamav.conf clamav-daemon
It certainly used to be that, but it should have moved it over to /etc/clamav/clamav.conf a long time ago. Do you have clamav-daemon
installed currently, or just the config files?
What is the output of dpkg -l clamav-daemon?
So the freshclam has to look for /etc/clamav.conf or clamav-daemon has to put
clamav.conf at /etc/clamav/
Of course I won't freshclam to restart clamav daemon.
By the way when I put in config of freshclam to act no if-up can I show more then one port (example eth0 wlan0 ppp0)?
What is the syntax?
Just as you have it there - in the debconf screen, enter 'eth0 wlan0 ppp0' (without the quotes), and it should work for all of them.
