The ipw2100 needs the kbuild environment for building. It is packaged
for 2.6 kernels in Debian but not for 2.4. I'd consider changing the
upstream build mechanism too complex, so until kbuild is not available
for 2.4 ipw2100 will not be available for Debian standard kernels.
