• Bug#266566: gnokii: licence violations

    From martin f krafft@1:229/2 to All on Wed Aug 18 12:20:04 2004
    From: [email protected]

    Package: gnokii
    Severity: serious
    Tags: sarge-ignore

In a discussion surrounding the Gammu project[0], the author claims
that Gnokii violates the licences of various other software.
Therefore, he is requesting the removal of Gnokii from Debian until
the licence problems have been fixed[1]. Some additional information
    is available here[2].

I am tagging this sarge-ignore because it's very short notice. Feel
free to remove the tag and gnokii from Sarge.

While you are welcome to join the gammu-legal mailing list, let us
keep gnokii stuff off. I have not contacted gnokii upstream. I would
appreciate if you could do it.
