Can you try rebuilding the package with :

    apt-get source -b hardware-monitor

And see if you have the same problem with the resulting package.

    Friendly,

    Sven Luther

Yesterday evening, I use aptitude to to the upgrades so I've an
aptitude log of what was upgraded. I upgrade my system eveyday (mostly)
and shut down the computer every night. Yesterday, the hardware-monitor
    was running fine.

You will find attached the aptitude log. (there was 2 runs because some packages were not on the mirror the 1st time I tried to upgrade).

    Cool, ...

That said, i saw nothing extraordinary there, will need to search a bit more
    in detail later on.

As the package is French localised, here are some hints ;-)

    [GARDE] means "kept"
    [MIS A JOUR] means "upgraded"
    [INSTALLE] means "installed"
    [DEPENDANCES] means "dependancies"

    Ce n'est pas necessaire. :).

    Amicalement,

    Sven Luther

It was only for those who experience the same problem and are reading
    this thread ;-)
