The attached patch solves a bug in the reading of the device class: In big endian architectures it is necessary to invert the bits to little endian. Otherwise, all classes are wrong. For example "discover -t network" won't list a pcnet32 without this patch.
We have tested this patch on a ppc32 and a i386.
