• Bug#266437: libsdl1.2debian-all: Colours corrupted in YUV overlay with

    Package: libsdl1.2debian-all
    Version: 1.2.7-7
    Severity: normal

When disabling hardware acceleration by setting the environment variable SDL_VIDEO_YUV_HWACCEL to 0, the colours of the image inside the overlay
are severely messed up, i.e. there seems to be no relation with the
actual colours, though the correct outline of the image can be discerned.

I rebuilt SDL from the sources included in the Debian source package,
without applying the bundled patches, and the resulting library *does*
    behave as expected.

Problem was recreated with 3 different video adapters on Debian testing
and unstable, and yet another one on Mandrake...

Aha, perhaps this is another duplicate of #257257 and #259019, and I'm
the first one who found out that this only happens when no h/w accel is available. The culprit would then be the MMX YUV colourspace conversion
    code.
