• Bug#266436: use $http_proxy to feed clamav-freshclam/http_proxy debconf

From Ludovic Rousseau@1:229/2 to All on Tue Aug 17 23:40:09 2004

    Package: clamav-freshclam
    Version: 0.75.1-3
    Severity: wishlist

    Hi,

It would be great if the Debconf question clamav-freshclam/http_proxy
would be pre-filed with the value of $http_proxy if such an environment variable is defined.

I don't know how to do this with Debconf so I do not try to provide a
    (bad) patch.

    Bye,

Thanks - it is a good idea. I will see if I can come up with a clean
way to do so. I am not sure that it will make sarge, but it will happen
    soon.
