Package: kvim
Version: 1:6.3-013+2
Severity: normal
On my machine, judging subjectively, KVim takes much longer to draw
text than, for example, GVim. When typing, there is a noticeable delay
between pressing the key and displaying the character (I'm constantly to
be at least a couple characters ahead of display). This is not related
to individual settings (tried kvim -u NONE, same result).
While not a serious problem, it is very irritating and is enough for me
to rule kvim out as the primary editor in favour of gvim, not to mention
the other serious bugs.
