Package: udev
Version: 0.030-1
Severity: normal
After moving from devfs to udev the non-rewinding tape devices are
missing.
ls /sys/class/scsi_tape
nst0 nst0a nst0l nst0m nst1 nst1a nst1l nst1m st0 st0a st0l
st0m st1 st1a st1l st1m
ls /dev/*st0*
/dev/st0 /dev/st0a /dev/st0l /dev/st0m
ls -l /etc/udev/rules.d
total 0

compat-full.rules -> ../compat-full.rules
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 15 Jul 25 13:59 compat.rules -> ../compat.rules
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 14 Jul 25 13:59 devfs.rules -> ../devfs.rules
What makes me curious is the part in /etc/udev/scsi-devfs.sh saying:
...
nst*)
# FIXME
;;
...
This is a default udev installation without any modifications.
