• Bug#266400: Ire: cannot close window from windows manager

From Alexandre Pineau@1:229/2 to All on Tue Aug 17 22:40:13 2004
    From: [email protected]

    Package: liballegro4.1
    Version: 2:4.1.15-4
    Severity: important

I have rebuild the package Ire 0.90 against the last version of liballegro4.1. I have also configured Ire to start in windowed mode (The configuration file game.ini can be found in /home/[user's name]/.ire, add -vx to videomode).
Start ire-flat and try to close the window from windows manager (in my case xfce3). I can't close it (Nevertheless, you can always use 'echap' under Ire
    to quit).

A really annoying bug. More probably a serious bug. Please feel free to upgrade the severity.

As far as I know, the API of liballegro4.1 is compatible with the API of allegro 4.03.

    file media.c, line 180 :
    set_gfx_mode(GFX_AUTODETECT_WINDOWED, 640, 480, 0, 0)

I think the issue with X is in this function.
