  • Bug#266384: gaim: Add a popup window before a file transfert begins.

    Hello,

    when I drag&drop a file to send it there isn't any message to say that
    the transfert will begin (or to ask if I want to cancel the transfert).
    So the user could try to drag&drop files until the dialog transfert
    appears (as I did...).

    I think it could be interresting to add a popup window to inform the
    user that its request is treated.

    I reported this upstream as it's quite confusing as the user has no
    feedback at all when they try transferring a file, but I never received
    a response. While looking for it, I found somebody else who'd reported
    the same thing, and it looks like something might be done:
