It happens to me too in Firefox 0.9.3. Situation sketch:

1. I'm running firefox under Gnome2, with tabbrowser extensions loaded.
2. I open slashdot in first tab.
3. I open https://www.p3.postbank.nl/sesam/SesamLoginServlet into
another tab. Now I try to type my password. No go. Doing File -> Open
and canceling the file open dialog restores keyboard functionality.
