Severity: normal
hi - great program. have to write an SE/Linux policy for it because
ordinary users aren't allowed access to hard drives: it's completely
banned.
so i started... and the number of things it tries to do!!!!
i can't _possibly_ give it permission to stat /dev/tty*, /dev/vcs*,
/dev/ptmx, /dev/pty etc!!!
i don't know _where_ to begin to track down the correct permissions to
allow it to work!
in amongst the hundred or so "denied access to /dev/XXXX" permissions,
_one_ of them (i spotted the one to /dev/hdc and granted that) is
causing k3b to fail.
_please_ could something be done about the access to /proc and to /dev
such that it is a bit more selective about what it should be running a
"find" on, such that i have more chance of narrowing down the permission
sets!!
thanks,
l.
