• Bug#266272: alsa-base: Don't kill sound apps on suspend !

From Henning Glawe@1:229/2 to All on Tue Aug 17 12:40:07 2004
    From: [email protected]

    Package: alsa-base
    Version: 1.0.5a-2
    Severity: critical
    Justification: breaks unrelated software

Due to the changes in /etc/apm/event.d/alsa, every sound application was
killed during suspend. I lost some unsaved work because of this...
On my laptop, the old stop/continue code worked fine, so I am used to
    this behaviour.
If you introduce such a change, please make it at least configurable and disable it by default and/or prompt with a high debconf level for the
    user to agree !
