Package: wesnoth
Version: 0.8.2-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
The game spends nearly 3 seconds (old PIII) to redraw the map when
scrollling the map or changing the cells hightlighting. I can see the
drawing progress like a top-bottom painting during the redraw. The
others graphical operation are proportionally slow to this one.
I mention the map redraw as it is the one that renders the package unusable.
It seems like not being using the hardware acceleration, the double
buffering or something like that, but i am running TuxRacer on the same conditions and it works fluently, and glxinfo tells me that the DRI is
not broken, so i suspect that the bug may be something not specific for
my system like a missing compilationflag.
Ask me and i will give you more details on my configuration.
Thanks for spending your time contributin to that cool game.
