Hi Hilko,

You mention that the next version of drupal will depend on a newer wwwconfig-common. When do you expect this package update to be
available?

Thanks,

Just uploaded it. Thanks for kicking me. ;-)

Having installed the drupal package with postgres (changing the user authentication to make it work - bug just before this reported this
problem) I now get the following in the web browser when accessing
the site

Fatal error: DB Error: unknown error query: INSERT INTO watchdog (uid,
type, message, link, location, hostname, timestamp) VALUES (0, 'error', 'database: DB Error: unknown error query: SELECT u.*, s.*, r.name AS
role FROM users u INNER JOIN sessions s ON u.uid = s.uid LEFT JOIN role

'/drupal/', '158.234.250.66', 1091710163) in /usr/share/drupal/includes/database.pear.inc on line 89

This is a problem with wwwconfig-common. I had sent the maintainer a
few patches and either I missed to send some or he missed to include
some of them. The next Drupal package will depend on a newer
wwwconfig-common.

Package: drupal
Version: 4.4.2-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Having installed the drupal package with postgres (changing the user authentication to make it work - bug just before this reported this
problem) I now get the following in the web browser when accessing the
site

Fatal error: DB Error: unknown error query: INSERT INTO watchdog (uid,
type, message, link, location, hostname, timestamp) VALUES (0, 'error', 'database: DB Error: unknown error query: SELECT u.*, s.*, r.name AS
role FROM users u INNER JOIN sessions s ON u.uid = s.uid LEFT JOIN role
r ON u.rid = r.rid WHERE s.sid = \'%s\' AND u.status < 3', '',
'/drupal/', '158.234.250.66', 1091710163) in /usr/share/drupal/includes/database.pear.inc on line 89

In the /var/log/postgresql/postgres.log file I get the following errors
(also repeated every 5 minutes as the result of the installed cron job)
